Aryna Sabalenka

Sabalenka is a native of Minsk, the capital of Belarus. Sergey his father (who died in the year 2019) was a professional ice hockey player. Aryna Sabalenka was born in Minsk Belarus in May 1998. She has had 12 WTA singles titles. One of them was the Grand Slam at the 2023 Australian Open. Additionally, she's a fantastic doubles player. She's won two other Majors in this area, the US Open 2019 and the Australian Open 2021 won both with Elise Mertens. She also achieved The Sunshine Double in 2019, and won the WTA 1000 at Indian Wells, Miami and the Australian Open along with Elise and Mertens. Four couples only managed to achieve this feat in women's doubles. Her ranking went from second to third place in the world singles ranking on the 23rd of August in 2021. Her top ranking came in the month of January in 2023. Her climb into the top spot of the doubles ranking in the next year after triumphing at Melbourne. She became the second Belarusian tennis player to have success on the court. Dmitry Tursunov was her coach for the duration of 2018, till her season was over in the year 2019, and also for a short period at the beginning of 2020. It was also a short time that she teamed up with Dieter Kindlmann between August and September of 2020. Since the end of 2020 she's been trained by her host countryman Antonio Dubrov. Serena Williams is her role for a role model, closely followed by Maria Sharapova.
